Nineteen Eighty Four (1984)

1984 (sometimes Nineteen Eighty-Four, which is how the title appears on screen) is a British film based upon the 1949 novel of the same name by George Orwell; the film was made in the year imagined by the author. Its based of the dystopian novel which we all know well. And it actually is a pretty good rendition of it. Two other books worth reading on similar concepts: Brave New World and Darkness at Noon: Both really really good books! (Thanks Dash for introducing both :-))
